Unjournaling / Short Writing Responses are writing exercises that are not personal, not introspective, and not boring. Writing does not have to be a psychological journey. All the writing exercises are entirely impersonal, while still challenging a writer's creativity and ingenuity.
DOL: Daily Oral Language introduces proofreading exercises. The exercises help students sharpen their skills at recognizing and correcting errors in spelling, punctuation, capitalization, sentence structure, and usage.
    ...
Sentences, Parts of Speech, and Punctuation Practice will consist of short worksheet to help practice these grammar skills. (please pick up from the teacher).
TDQ - Text-Dependent Questions - a step by step approach that ensures, in every close reading lesson, students are guided to consider explicit and implied meanings and deeply analyze various aspects of a text.
